Group 4 Tiles Together that share a common theme in this 2D puzzle game where the difficulty and levels scale!

This game was made by a solo developer with the help of two little QA testers for the 2024 Game Jam By GMTK.

Control

Left-click to select or deselect a tile.

Theme

The difficulty for each group scales from Easy to Mega. The level becomes smaller and easier as you solve the groups since you have fewer choices.

The boss levels are larger than normal with 20 tiles instead of 16, but they will give you 5 hearts instead of 4.

The tiles are linked from an online icons library so creating new levels will be quicker as the number of levels scale up.

Potential Issues

Sometimes the icon servers may respond slower than usual. If this happens, the icons may take around 10 or 30 seconds to fully load. Please be patient if this occurs.

If the servers are fully down or taking too long, you may use the hint all button to reveal the words.

It's a pleasure to play so relaxing game.
The cohesive experience makes this game shine!

Little details like sound on hover is a nice touch!

Didn't get the whole idea about hints and why they needed thought. And shuffle elements... Are they just to help you to fresh your mind?

Spend some lovely time with the game. Don't forget, there are other's games to play  !

I am glad you liked it!

Maybe the game needs to explain it better but hints were added in case of image ambiguity, or if you were just stuck. You're right about the shuffle. It's just to refresh your mind.

Had a blast playing your game too!
